{ MOSAIC – CHARITY PROJECT }

Mosaic is a registered non-profit organization that was established in 2009 and does community development work in Ikageng, the informal settlement of Potchefstroom. The vision of Mosaic is to enhance the living circumstances of orphans through a holistic approach on sustainable development. This includes building houses for women who are fostering orphans and creating jobs for these women to provide better life for the orphans in return.

With the help of volunteers from the United States, Mosaic was able to build a Training Centre to equip our Foster Parents with job skills so they can create a sustainable income for their families.  The center will be used for training of Foster Parents in sewing skills and other hand crafts and for training in cooking and catering skills.  It will also be used to facilitate homework, extra maths/science/computer lessons and other recreational activities for the children of the Foster Homes program.

I had the privilege to capture and experience what Mosaic is doing and what an amazing experience it was!! Blessed to be a part of this beautiful project!!
